Tanya Nesbitt is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and environmental law. Currently serving as a Partner at Thompson Hine LLP since September 2022, Tanya also holds the position of 2023 LCLD Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity since March 2023. Previous roles include Partner at Marten Law LLP and Summit Law Group, and a Trial Attorney in the Environment & Natural Resources Division at the U.S. Department of Justice from January 2015 to July 2019. Additionally, Tanya served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in 2014. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College.
