César Saavedra is a seasoned Geotechnical Project Engineer at Thompson Engineering since May 2022, with extensive experience in the geotechnical field. Previously, César served as a Geotechnical Project Inspector at CyD Ingeniería, supervising a significant geotechnical study for wind tower construction. As the owner of SG Geotechnical Drilling Co. from October 2016 to April 2021, César led operations in geotechnical drilling across the southern region. At MAHS Geotechnical Engineering Co., César excelled as Technical Manager, directing studies for various civil engineering projects. Earlier roles included Chief Technician at the Construction Materials Laboratory and Teacher Assistant for soil mechanics courses at Universidad de La Frontera. Educational credentials include a Construction Engineering degree and an MBA in Project Management, complemented by a certificate in Quality Management for Infrastructure.
