John Thompson is currently the President of Thompson Distribution and the Chairman and CEO of MTA Distributors. They have served as the Dealer Principal at Thompson Truck Group since 2022. Previously, Thompson held various positions including Asset Manager at Covenant Capital Group from 2004 to 2006 and Vice President of Sales at Thompson Machinery in 2008-2009. Thompson earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Human & Organization Development from Vanderbilt University, graduating in 2003.
