Marlaina Wright is an accomplished attorney with diverse experience in law firms and legal education. Currently serving as an Associate at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons L.L.P. since December 2022, Marlaina has previously held positions as an Associate Attorney at Lumens Law Group PLLC and as a Contract Attorney at Carter Arnett PLLC. Prior to these roles, Marlaina gained valuable experience as a Remote Law Clerk at Maatuka Al-Heeti Emkes LLC and as the Executive Managing Editor for the Emory International Law Review, where recognition included the Red Pen Award for outstanding editing. Marlaina's legal training includes practical experience as a legal extern, summer associate, and judicial intern, providing a strong foundation in various aspects of law. Marlaina earned a Juris Doctor with Honors from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of North Texas.
