Shiri Avnery is the President & Co-Founder of Thistle, a company that delivers ready-to-eat plant-forward meals, snacks, and juices to customers. Prior to founding Thistle, Shiri was the COO & Co-Founder of WeGoFair, a platform that provides ratings for hotels and restaurants based on their social and environmental performance. Shiri has also worked as a Program Officer at the New York University Center on International Cooperation, a Research Assistant at ICF International, and a Research Assistant at Brown University. Shiri holds a Ph.D. in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from Princeton University, an M.A. in Physical Geography from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Sc. in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Brown University.
