Darin Bird is currently a Trustee at THIS IS THE PLACE FOUNDATION. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Service Supervisor from January 1995 to January 1998 and as a Stock Control Assistant from January 1994 to January 1995.

Darin has extensive experience in managing teams and customer service functions. Darin is skilled in developing, monitoring, and motivating staff, as well as forward planning of staff levels and cover. Additionally, Darin is proactive in implementing new procedures to enhance department efficiency and performance. Darin also has experience in handling staff recruitment and all department HR issues.

Darin is an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Darin is able to create, manage, and analyse performance data and other information. Darin works well with others, especially in a board or managerial capacity. Darin is a strong leader with excellent communication skills.

Darin Bird achieved O Levels in CSE, Maths, Biology, English, Physical Education, Chemistry, Physics and Geography at Littlehampton Community School.
