Edward Conner has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Edward started their career at PDL BioPharma in 2006 as a Medical Director. Edward then worked as a Director of Clinical Research at Theravance in 2007. In 2008, they joined Genentech as a Medical Director and stayed there until 2013. At BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., they served as a Senior Medical Director in 2013 and 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Vice President at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. Edward then moved to Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. in 2016 and held the position of Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President until 2019. Conner then joined Astellas Gene Therapies, where they worked as the Site Lead and Division Head of Gene Therapy Medical & Development from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they became a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Locanabio, Inc. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Third Harmonic Bio since June 2022. Additionally, they have also served on the Board of Imara Inc. since April 2020.
