Jake Hunt, M. Ed., M. RE. has a diverse work experience, beginning with their service in the US Marines from 2002-2013. During this time, they held the roles of Logistics and Information Systems Chief, Sales and Human Resources, and Customer Service Helpdesk Supervisor. In 2013, they became a General Manager at McDonald's Corporation until 2014, when they began working at Charter Communications as a Sales Representative. In 2015, Jake Hunt began working at ThinkData Solutions, Inc. as a Business Training and Product Consultant and Sales Consultant, in addition to their role as Associate Pastor of Education and Outreach at Northside Baptist Church Slidell.

Jake Hunt, M. Ed., M. RE. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Religion/Religious Studies from Liberty University in 2012. Jake then earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Expository Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2013. In 2015, they earned a Master's degree in Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Finally, they earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Portland in 2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Art/Art Studies, General from Central Texas College in 2007.
