Aditya Bhowmick has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. In 2013, they were a Research Assistant and Summer Internship at Advanced Robotics and Mechanism Applications Laboratory, where they demonstrated improvement in tele-manipulation performance, developed and implemented telemanipulation and assistive manipulation algorithms, and programmed a library of VF primitives. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer/Consultant at AntWish Inc (Povi.me). Since 2015, they have been a Senior Software Engineer, TPLAN and Software Engineer, Advanced Products at THINK Surgical.

Aditya Bhowmick completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2012. Aditya then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University between 2012 and 2014. In addition, they obtained two Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015, one for R Programming in May and one for The Data Scientist's Toolbox in March.
