Katrin Siems is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the publishing industry. Currently serving as Senior Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales & Marketing at Thieme Group since November 2017, Katrin is a member of the Management Board. Prior roles include Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at Thieme Group for the regions of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as Head of Sales and Marketing at Beuth Verlag GmbH. Additional experience includes Vice-President Sales & Marketing at De Gruyter and various roles at Springer SBM, Otto Group, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Lufthansa, and Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG. Katrin holds degrees from the MBS School of Business and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
