Dr. Rainer Albert Rakoczy has extensive experience in the field of chemical technology, particularly in catalysis and refinery processes. Currently serving as Technology Advisor for Fuel and Global Product Manager for Fuel Upgrading at Clariant since January 2012, Dr. Rakoczy has also contributed as an Honorary Writer for refinery topics in the Römpp Chemie Lexikon Online Version with Thieme Publishers since January 2011. Prior roles include Global Topic Expert for Zeolites Refinery, R+D Department Manager, and R+D Project Manager at Sud-Chemie from January 2005 to January 2012, as well as scientific positions at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and the University of Stuttgart. Dr. Rakoczy has a Doctorate in Natural Sciences from the University of Stuttgart and has also received education from the South German Catalysis Institute.
