Bernhardt Kern has extensive experience in service management and support within the biomedical and medical engineering sectors. Since April 2020, Bernhardt Kern has been employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in the role of Design for Serviceability and Support within Global Services. Prior to this, Bernhardt Kern served as Service Manager ACCS at ThermoFisher Scientific from August 2010 to April 2020. Additional experience includes a brief position as a Flughelfer/Pilot at Heli Salzkammergut GmbH in 2017, an IT Support Specialist role at Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG from April 2007 to July 2009, and a Diplomand position at Siemens in 2006. Earlier professional experience also includes an internship at TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in 2006. Bernhardt Kern holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Medical University of Vienna and a Bachelor of Applied Science in the same field from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien.
