Arwa Al-Jawadi, Ph.D., is a highly experienced Technical Application Scientist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, specializing in qPCR since July 2019, with previous roles as Technical Application Scientist II in the same area. Arwa also serves as an Associate at Cheeky Scientist and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Clinical Research Coordinator at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of adipocyte function related to obesity. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and various roles at Texas Tech University, including Graduate Part-Time Instructor and Graduate Research Assistant, contributing significantly to research in nutritional sciences. Arwa obtained a Ph.D. and an MS in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University and holds a B.Sc. in Medical Engineering from the Technical College of Mosul.
