Alessandro Vicari is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as Business Unit Director for the diabetes division at Theras Group since September 2021. Prior to this role, Alessandro held various positions at Medtronic from June 2006 to September 2021, including Commercial Leader for the Cranial & Spine business in Italy, where leadership of the marketing team was a key responsibility. Alessandro’s extensive experience encompasses marketing and commercial strategy management across various divisions, including Spine, Pain, and Neurovascular, with a proven track record in team management and strategic planning. Earlier roles at Medtronic included Marketing Manager and Product Manager Supervisor, and Alessandro began a career in sales and application support at Smith & Nephew. Alessandro holds a degree in Biology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
