Grégory Operto has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2004 when they were an Engineer in Training at Univerzita Karlova v Praze. Grégory then worked as a Researcher Phd Candidate at Aix-Marseille University from 2005 to 2009, followed by a role as a Research Engineer at UPMC - Sorbonne Universities from 2011 to 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Research Scientist, and Head of Neuroinformatics at the BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center. Most recently, they have been a Data Engineer at Therapixel since 2022.

Grégory Operto completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at Aix-Marseille University from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university from 2004 to 2005. Grégory also earned a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Polytech Marseille from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in April 2021.
