Rachelle Acitelli Reed, PhD, MS, ACSM-EP, serves as the Chief Health and Science Officer at SweatHouz Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge Studio since September 2022 and as part-time faculty in the Kinesiology Department at the University of Georgia since July 2022. An active member of the American College of Sports Medicine since June 2021, Rachelle contributes to several committees focused on professional education and health and fitness trends. Previously, Rachelle held senior leadership roles at Orangetheory Fitness, overseeing health science initiatives and research, and was involved in training development and safety at Pure Barre. Rachelle's academic background includes a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Georgia, complemented by extensive research and teaching experience across various educational roles within the university. Rachelle's educational foundation also encompasses a Master's degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Psychology.
