John Shahid currently serves as the Head of Partnerships at theom, a position held since July 2024. Prior roles include Business Development Advisor at Activeloop and Vice President of Business Development and Channel at Materialize. Notably, John was Head of Global Cloud and ISV Alliances at Alation, where achievements included being recognized as Data Governance partner of the year for Snowflake (twice) and Databricks (once), while fostering strong relationships with major cloud providers and data ISVs. Previous experience at Snowflake involved roles as Sr Cloud Alliance Manager and Cloud Alliance Manager, where John developed joint sales strategies and trained sales teams. Early career highlights include positions at Apple and a dental internship that provided valuable management skills. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of San Francisco.
