Cyril Awad began their work experience with Societe Generale in 2008, where they completed an internship in Sales MENA. Cyril then pursued internships at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Analyst and at EADS as a Marketing Analyst. In 2012, Cyril co-founded and served as CEO of Chabaka. Cyril also worked as a Marketing Analyst - Business Project at Groupe SEB and as a Project Manager at Soft Solutions in 2012 and 2013, respectively. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Sales Executive at Misys in Lebanon and Jordan. Cyril then took on the role of Country Manager for New Markets - Nordics, APAC & MENA at Equativ (formerly Smart) from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, they became the Country Manager for France at Scalapay before joining Theodo as the Head of Sales & Partnerships later that year.
Cyril Awad completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut from 2006 to 2009. Cyril then pursued a Business School Program (MSc Management) at HEC Paris from 2009 to 2012. During their time at HEC Paris, they also participated in the CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education program, earning a Master in International Management in 2012. Prior to their university education, Cyril completed their Baccalauréat “S” with distinction from Collège Louise Wegmann from 2000 to 2006. Cyril attended Collège Stanislas from 1993 to 2000, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
