Sarah T. Roberts, Ph.D., currently serves as a Professor and Faculty Director and Co-Founder of the Center for Critical Internet Inquiry (C2i2) at UCLA since June 2016. Previous roles include Associate Professor and Co-Founder at C2i2 and Assistant Professor at Western University. Sarah T. Roberts has also worked as a Staff Researcher at Twitter and held various academic positions, including Doctoral Candidate and Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where a doctorate in Library and Information Science was completed in May 2014. Early career experiences include a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Technical Project Manager at the Wisconsin Alumni Association, and roles at Ultratech Systems Inc and Duke University. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's in French Language and Literature, Spanish Language and Literature, and Women's Studies from the same university.
