Lior Kodner has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and positions. Lior began their career at Haaretz in 2006, serving as the Foreign Editor and Analyst before becoming the Social Media Director for the Haaretz Group. In 2009, Lior joined the Israeli Foreign Office as a New Media Strategist, where they supervised the development of websites and executed social media campaigns. Lior returned to Haaretz in 2011 as the Head of Digital, then progressed to become the Chief Digital Officer and later the Managing Editor. Currently, they hold the position of CEO, Digital, overseeing all digital activities, innovation, and data at Haaretz Group. Additionally, Lior has been involved in various board and advisory roles, including being a Board Member for The Movement for Freedom of Information, Onlife, and PeakApps. Lior has also served as an Academic Teacher at Tel Aviv University and The Open University.
Lior Kodner obtained a BA degree in Economics & Politics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2004. Lior then pursued an MA degree in Politics from the same institution, graduating in 2007. Later, in 2014, Lior Kodner completed an IEMBA (International Executive Master of Business Administration) in Business Administration and Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
