Alex Orona is a Senior Data Scientist at Keys. Alex has over five years of experience in data science and product management. Alex has a strong focus on deep learning, TensorFlow and Python notebook integration. Alex has also worked on predictive maintenance and time series projects. Alex has introduced streamlined CNNs for image classification and image segmentation. Alex has also designed a modeling workbench, including Automated Machine Learning (AutoML). Alex has managed features for ETL, model lifecycle management and solution delivery at scale in a range of industries, including life sciences (drug discovery), mining, aviation, material sciences and analytical chemistry.

Alex Orona has a Master's degree in Data Science and Engineering from UC San Diego, a Master's of Research from University of Cambridge, and is a Fulbright Scholar from the US Fulbright Program. Alex also has a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
