Sofia Skarlatos currently serves as the Director of Legal Affairs & Strategic Transactions at TheGuarantors, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Sofia was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Notable, a fintech startup, from January 2022 to October 2024. Before joining Notable, Sofia worked as Assistant General Counsel at One Zero Capital, a credit and fintech investment incubator, from August 2020 to October 2024. Sofia's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP from November 2017 to August 2020 and as a Law Clerk for the U.S. Courts of Appeals from August 2016 to August 2017. Sofia earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in History from The George Washington University.
