Douglas Malcore is an experienced professional with a diverse background in insurance, claims adjustment, and facility management. Currently serving as a Material Damage Supervisor at The General® since December 2021, Douglas has previously held roles as a Senior Claims Adjuster and DRP Vendor Manager at American Family Insurance from May 2014 to December 2021, and as a Senior Field Claims Adjuster at GEICO from April 2007 to April 2014. Douglas's expertise includes investigating, negotiating, and settling various types of claims, as well as conflict resolution and workload prioritization during national catastrophes. Prior to the insurance industry, Douglas served in the US Army, where responsibilities included building management and emergency planning. With formal education including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, Douglas has also gained experience in sales, food service management, and maintenance roles.
