Christopher Makin has extensive experience in governance, leadership, and communications, currently serving as Trustee at Morden College and the Sir William Coxen Trust, along with roles as Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London and President of the Aldersgate Ward Club. Elected Alderman for the Ward of Aldersgate, Christopher participates in several committees within the City of London Corporation, advocating for their ward while playing a significant role in the ceremonial and legal aspects of the city. Christopher has also chaired the Barbican Residents' Consultation Committee, promoting collaboration between residents and the Corporation. Previous positions include Director of Communications at Ford Credit and various roles at Standard Chartered Bank, where Christopher developed communication strategies and enhanced the organization's reputation across several regions.
