Lauren Mitchell currently serves as a Teacher in Residence at The Windward School since September 2022. Prior to this position, Lauren was a Teaching Fellow with NYC Teaching Fellows and worked as a Special Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from September 2017 to January 2022. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Education focused on Students with Disabilities and Childhood Education from Hunter College, obtained between 2017 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Baruch College.
