Lulu Gephart is a seasoned professional in conservation and external affairs, currently serving as Interim SVP of Conservation Programs at The Wilderness Society since March 2016, where management of program functions and strategic vision advancement are key responsibilities. Lulu co-founded The Outdoor Policy Outfit, a think tank focused on innovative solutions to environmental crises, and has held significant roles at REI, including Manager of Social & Earned Media and Digital Engagement. Additional experience includes founding 11at11 Digital to support women in outdoor leadership, working as an Account Executive at Switchback PR + Marketing, and early retail experience with Patagonia. Lulu holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus on Economic Development from Tufts University and studied Southern Cone Economic Development abroad.
