Andrea O'Brien is an experienced fundraising professional with a strong background in donor relations and philanthropy operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Donor Relations & Philanthropy Operations at The Wilderness Society since January 2015, Andrea held previous leadership roles in stewardship and advocacy. Prior to this, Andrea worked at The Phillips Collection as Director of Individual Giving and Membership and at Children's National Medical Center as Senior Associate Director of Direct Response. Andrea's fundraising expertise was further developed at the ASPCA, where responsibilities included managing mid-level giving programs and major donor portfolios. Andrea's career also includes experience as Campaign Director at Safe Horizon, overseeing a significant capital campaign, and as Publicist at Doubleday Broadway, successfully promoting bestselling titles. Andrea has a BA in English from Goucher College.
