Wayne Tarrier has a diverse work experience spanning several positions in the banking industry. Wayne started their career at Yorkshire Bank Plc, where they held various roles, including Branch Manager, from 1991 to 2001. After that, they joined The West Brom and took on roles such as Training & Competency Officer, Compliance Consultant, and Compliance Manager, from 2001 to 2011. Wayne then progressed to Head of Compliance & Financial Crime and Head of Operational & Conduct Risk before becoming the Head of Legal & Regulatory Services in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Compliance Officer SMF16 & SMF17 at The West Brom, where they oversee the Compliance and Financial Crime Teams, provides risk assurance to the Board and Risk Committee, and leads the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan. Wayne is also approved as SMF16 & SMF17 (MLRO).

Wayne Tarrier attended Kingsmead High School - Hednesford from 1985 to 1991.
