Amin Daghighi, EIT, currently serves as a Project Engineer at The Weitz Company since February 2024. Previously, Amin worked at the Iowa Department of Transportation as a Project Engineer (Data Analyst) from October 2021 to December 2023, holding state certifications in various construction and erosion control techniques. Amin's experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University focusing on internally cured concrete impacts on pavement construction and at Cleveland State University, where research involved developing a water quality forecasting model utilizing machine-learning techniques. Additional experience includes field engineering internships and co-ops, teaching assistant roles in hydrology and hydraulic engineering, and an assistant project engineer position at the Construction Materials Institute. Amin holds a Master's degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master's in Environmental Engineering from Cleveland State University, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran.
