Mike Baker has extensive work experience in the IT industry. In 1995, they worked as the Director of Technology Services for Europe and Asia at Whirlpool Corporation, where they gained valuable skills in understanding cultural differences and international management. From 2000 to 2003, Mike served as the VP of Global IS Infrastructure at ABB. Mike then joined IBM in 2003 as a Project Executive until 2006. After that, they joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and held various roles, including Director of EMEA IT Infrastructure, VP of Global Infrastructure for End User Services, and VP of IT Global Infrastructure. Mike was responsible for creating and managing shared service teams, integrating acquisitions, and implementing global support structures. Currently, Mike is working as the Head of IT Core Services at The Weir Group PLC.

Mike Baker attended IMD from 2000 to 2002, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Prior to this, they studied at Kingston University from 1999 to 2002, where they completed an MBA program with a focus in an unspecified field of study.
