Sam Fankuchen is the Founder and CEO of Golden, a globally recognized platform focused on delivering mission-oriented programs through optimized service and software solutions since March 2015. In addition to leading Golden, Fankuchen serves as an Executive Member and Judge at The Webby Awards, an Editor at Engage, and a Board Member of the Volunteer Groups Alliance, contributing to advancements in volunteer program efficacy. Fankuchen is also a Council Member at GivingTuesday and a participant in the Greater Giving Summit at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, supporting initiatives aimed at improving charitable giving. Previous roles include Managing Director at Applico, Business Mentor at Craigslist Foundation, and Business Development Manager at Penske Motor Group. Fankuchen holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the same institution, along with additional educational qualifications from The London School of Economics and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design.
