Kate Marshall is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in claims litigation strategy and insurance defence. Currently serving as Manager, Claims Litigation Strategy and Strategic Claims Counsel at Wawanesa Insurance since April 2019, Kate's prior roles include Associate Lawyer at Stewart McKelvey and Dutton Brock LLP, where a strong focus was placed on litigation. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and the University of St Andrews with a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics and International Relations, Kate has developed significant expertise in drafting court documents and legal research memorandums throughout a diverse legal career. Early experience includes an articling position at Stewart McKelvey and a summer role at the Griffin Centre, working with at-risk youth.
