G. Kristen Green, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Finance & Controller at The Water Institute of the Gulf, where the focus is on supporting coastal and deltaic communities through applied research and technical services. Prior experience includes serving as Controller for D. Honore Construction, LLC, a general contractor in commercial construction and real estate, and as a Consultant at KG Consulting Group, LLC, specializing in business and accounting for the real estate and construction sectors. G. Kristen Green also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Peek Howe Real Estate, Inc., overseeing a firm dedicated to multi-family real estate development and property management, and worked as an Investigative Auditor for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor. Academic qualifications include a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from Louisiana Tech University.
