Johanna Mayer-Jones is a seasoned marketing and advertising executive with a robust background in leadership roles across prominent media organizations. Currently serving as the Global Chief Advertising Officer at The Washington Post, Johanna also heads Global Client and Agency Partnerships. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at The Atlantic, Vice President of Live Journalism and Specialty Sales at The Wall Street Journal, as well as Global Sales Director at Mergermarket. Johanna began their career as an Account Manager at Mergermarket and previously held the role of Advertising Manager and Advertising Sales at the Financial Times. Educationally, Johanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting Journalism from the University of Leeds, completed between 2001 and 2004.
