Michael Lazarou is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in biomedical sciences. Currently serving as the Head of Laboratory at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research since January 2022, Michael also co-founded Automera in 2022, where involvement as a member of the scientific advisory board continues. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Laboratory Head at Monash University since June 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2010 to 2014. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, both from La Trobe University.
