Valorie Johnson has extensive experience in the field of education and family services, currently serving as a Program Officer and Program Director at the W. K. Kellogg Foundation since July 1992, with a focus on education, learning, and family economic security. Prior to this role, Valorie was the Director of Native American Children and Family Services for the State of Michigan from February 1978 to July 1992. Valorie Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Michigan State University, earned between 2004 and 2007, a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1973-1974), and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1969-1972).
