Eric Basu is an accomplished executive with a strong background in technology, venture capital, and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Haiku, Inc., Basu led the company to win the 2024 DARPA Tools Competition in the "Building an Advanced and Competitive Workforce" track. As a Limited and Venture Partner at The Veteran Fund, Basu focuses on investing in military veteran-led technology startups. Additionally, Basu is the Founder and a Board Member of the San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence, aiming to enhance the cybersecurity sector in San Diego. Engagements include membership on the Fast Company Impact Council and the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation and Saved In America, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing trafficked children. Previously, Basu founded Sentek Global, which became a leading defense contractor, and co-founded Global Entertainment Security, providing specialized services to the entertainment industry.
