Rebecca Mackenzie is a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist currently working at The Very Group. Prior to this, Rebecca held the same position at STFC, where Rebecca was a member of the Data Science Group within the Hartree Centre. Rebecca has a strong background in biochemistry, with a Bachelor's Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from The University of Manchester. Rebecca has also worked as a Big Data Analyst for Pharmaceutical Production and as a Course Lecturer for the course 'Machine Learning for Cheminformatics'. Additionally, Rebecca has experience in teaching, programming, and research, making their a versatile and skilled professional in the field of data science.
