Gene Hong serves as the Director of Product Design for Trend & Print + Pattern at Target, leading a multidisciplinary team to enhance product design and development across various owned brand categories. With extensive experience in trend forecasting, market intelligence, and art direction, Gene has previously held roles at Target as the Director of Trend & Print + Pattern and Senior Design Manager for Men's and Kids' apparel. Additionally, Gene has offered strategic advisement to innovative companies like Ash & Erie and Metaverse Makeovers, participated in the inaugural in-flight TravelTech hackathon, and co-founded multiple ventures including Moonlight Graham of Orange and HJN Group. Gene holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Woodbury University and has completed leadership programs at Stanford University and Studio/E.
