Ailyn Mendones is currently a Business Associate at The VA Hub. Prior to that, they were a Customer Service Representative at Sutherland Global Services Philippines, Inc from December 2018 to May 2021. There, they handled calls for travelers and homeowners/managers from US, AU, NZ, UK, and APAC - for both Short and Long Term Rentals. Ailyn also assisted travelers to solve their complaints and stand as the mediator between the homeowners/managers. Furthermore, they assisted in processing payments, claims, cancellation and refunds, looking for a property, and basic queries. Lastly, they helped travelers in the relocation/rebooking process and managed emails on queue ensuring all urgent concerns will be addressed.

Before their work at Sutherland Global Services Philippines, Inc., Ailyn was an Government Relations Intern at Department of Labor and Employment Region V from October 2017 to October 2018. There, they performed clerical works, assisting clients with their queries about the programs offered. Ailyn also assisted clients with their complaints and referred them to the labor officer. In addition, Ailyn helped in facilitating Job Fairs and other DOLE Projects. Furthermore, they evaluated requirements for Building Permit and Business registration application. Lastly, they assisted in releasing stipends or allowances to project beneficiaries and was responsible for writing minutes of meetings and some letter communications.

Ailyn Mendones has a Bachelor in Business Administration major in Operations Management from Bicol University. Ailyn is certified from The VA Hub US in The VA Hub Leadership and Solidarity Bootcamp Management Training.
