Nikolay Milev is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of geotechnical engineering, currently serving as both Associate Professor and Chief Assistant Professor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy since August 2018. With extensive research expertise in soil-structure interaction, earthquake geotechnical engineering, liquefaction assessment, and ground improvement, Nikolay has also contributed to various educational programs by teaching courses in Geotechnical Structures and Soil Mechanics. As Managing Director at YODA LTD since October 2008, Nikolay leads project coordination, business strategy execution, and team training while also holding roles such as Associate Research Fellow at The University of Tokyo and Secretary of the National Group of Bulgaria for the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.
