Deirdre McDowell is an accomplished professional in pediatric physical therapy and organizational leadership, currently serving as President of the Houston Grand Opera Guild Inc. since August 2022, focusing on volunteer program development and recruitment. Concurrently, Deirdre has been a Blinded Assessor for the I-ACQUIRE phase 3 pediatric research study at UTHealth Houston since December 2019. As the owner of Deirdre McDowell, PLLC since November 2010, Deirdre specializes in developmental testing and early intervention, addressing musculoskeletal conditions in children with disabilities. With significant experience as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist at the Pediatric Therapy Center and previously consulting for medically fragile children at the CHOSEN Clinic, Deirdre's career spans multiple roles in physical therapy and education, including international work with the World Health Organization and Project HOPE.
