Karly Semenov is an experienced English language educator and content developer, currently serving as an English Second Language Specialist at The University of Texas at San Antonio since January 2024. Karly has extensive freelance and independent contracting experience with organizations such as Berlitz Corporation and National Geographic Learning, focusing on script adaptation, content proofreading, and digital transformation of educational materials. Karly has also contributed to the Duolingo flagship English program as a freelance English content editor and has developed business English online courses for various platforms. With a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Wheaton College and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of California, Davis, Karly combines a strong educational background with rich experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
