Zayaan Rahman is an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for CS 429, Zayaan facilitates weekly discussions and offers support on topics related to programming and low-level architecture. Experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant on machine learning applications in astronomy, achieving a top R2 value of ~0.96 in model accuracy published in the Research Notes of the American Astronomical Society. Zayaan has also held various roles in tech-related organizations, including being part of the Freetail Hackers' corporate and outreach teams, and interning at USAA, Trend Micro, and Convergent. Participation in prestigious hackathons, such as TreeHacks, highlights Zayaan's technical skills and innovation in developing applications and solutions.
