Ann Stevens is currently serving as the Dean at The University of Texas at Austin since July 2019. Prior to this role, Ann worked at UC Davis from August 2003 to June 2019, where Ann held various positions including Professor of Economics, Interim Dean of the Graduate School of Management, Director of the Center for Poverty Research, and Chair of the Department of Economics. Before UC Davis, Ann was an Associate Professor of Economics at Yale University from 1997 to 2003, and an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Rutgers University from 1995 to 1997. Ann earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Political Science from American University.
