Raaj Kurapati currently serves as the Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, starting in September 2023. Prior to this role, Raaj held the position of EVP & Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at The University of Memphis from May 2018 to September 2023 and served as Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Texas A&M University-Kingsville from June 2016 to May 2018. Raaj's extensive experience also includes roles as Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Services and Business Operations at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at Northern Marianas College, and Experienced Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Raaj began the professional journey as Vice President / Chief Financial Officer & Compliance Officer at the Bank of the Federated States of Micronesia. Raaj earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management from East Texas Baptist University.
