Jerry Purvis is an experienced Kinesiotherapy professional with a career spanning several decades. Since 2000, Jerry has served as the Kinesiotherapy Program Coordinator and Instructor at The University of Southern Mississippi, managing both clinical and didactic functions and instructing academic courses while ensuring program accreditation. Additionally, Jerry has been involved with the Council on Professional Standards for Kinesiotherapy since 1987, coordinating credentialing services and maintaining practice standards. Previously, Jerry worked at the Veterans Administration Medical Center from 1967 to 1999, holding various roles including Kinesiotherapist and Rehabilitation Services Coordinator. Jerry also served as President of the American Kinesiotherapy Association from 1984 to 1985. Jerry holds a Master of Science in Kinesiotherapy from The University of Southern Mississippi, obtained in 2002.
