Nicole Lawrence is a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Queensland, where since March 2015, Nicole has been overseeing a program focused on developing peptide-based medicines for malaria, aiming to produce low-cost, safer options that mitigate resistance issues. With a strong background in education, Nicole served as a Senior Research Officer at Education Queensland and taught Senior Chemistry and Biology, as well as Junior Science and Mathematics. Nicole's research experience includes positions at Protagonist Therapeutics and multiple roles at The University of Queensland. Nicole earned a PhD in Tropical Health from The University of Queensland and holds additional degrees in education and science.
