Mark Allenby is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at The University of Queensland since July 2021, serving as an ARC DECRA Fellow for the period of 2022-2025 and an Advance Queensland Fellow from 2019 to 2022. Mark also holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology since May 2018, where Mark was an Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellow between 2019 and 2022. Prior to these roles, Mark worked as a Research Associate and Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College London from October 2012 to April 2018, where Mark received the International Departmental Scholarship. Mark's earlier experience includes a brief tenure as a Developmental Engineer at HRL Laboratories in 2012. Mark holds a PhD and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from Pepperdine University.
