Sahara Bhanot is a dedicated PhD student at The University of Manchester, concurrently serving as a scientist at Cignpost Diagnostics Ltd. since May 2021, where work involves stringent qPCR assays for Sars-Cov-2 testing in a Category II Biosafety lab. With a background in medicinal chemistry, Sahara has engaged in various scientific roles, including postgraduate research on bacterial P450 engineering and drug design at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, and participation in the NHS Covid-19 Mass Vaccinator Programme. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior UCAS Ambassador for the School of Chemistry, demonstrating strong communication skills and commitment to educational engagement.
